any ideas for diy/cheap wall art?

I'm turning my office into a tv room. I need DIY wall art ideas for two of the walls. The color scheme is black and white. Pictures/directions would be greatly appreciated. I'm also looking for DIY light fixture ideas, maybe some sort of chandelier?

1. There's a new kind of masking tape available that promises not to let paint seep underneath it. You could create wide horizontal stripes in black, white, and gray on the lower side of one of your walls. That could be an accent wall. Then you could have large black-and-white photos as art on the other wall. Your local photo shop can probably make big enlargements of favorite family photos. They can even be colored photos originally and be transformed into b&w. For a TV room, I think you'll want soft, indirect light available for when you're watching TV, and also some floor and table lamps for reading, playing games, or just sitting around chatting. It's a nice idea to have a whole separate room for television. The sound can be contained!
2. check this out http://modernwallgraphics.com/ (its a clean link i promise)... my friend just bought one of the machines they use to do this for his office and you can do some REALLY cool stuff with it. plus the graphics are removable if you want to change the room in the future. plus the prices arent bad either. im sure there are other sites that may be even cheaper its just the first one that popped up on yahoo.
