Ideas for an online art gallery?

as an artists (photos,paintings,pottery etc.) If you listed your work online what would you want out of the website for example..Blogs?option of uploading videos? any ideas? Would you rather pay a commission for listing your art or a flat rate a year? This question is asking what would YOU like out of the website?

1. As a viewer of it, I would want to see a website that was very easy to navigate and should look professional if you are serious about selling your work. I think you could have a personal page - a short bio of why you draw, and a way to contact you. A blog lets you get personal with us - and that's always nice. You could also post on deviant-art.com ~I believe that is the address~ and have a free account that people could view and even purchase from. You could keep in touch with fans, and with other artists. (I would suggest placing a little banner over each one so that no one tries to steal it and take credit, or tries to print it without paying... that sort of thing) Hope that was helpful!
