Cheap Paintings

Where (store or site) can i buy great, decently priced framed wall arts?

Also, is it cheaper to buy a non-framed photo and then frame it myself with my own frame? or should i just buy the framing service offered by the seller. THANKS specifically, i'm looking for a nice picture of New york city, perhaps 3ft high x 4ft wide, but that's irrelevant.

2. If you know just what you want, you can buy amazing art on eBay from the artist and far below market value. They are able to sell direct to customers and bypass all middle men...saving you lots of money. I've collected some amazing pieces from eBay. Just be sure to select the option "direct from artist" and then look for what it is you want. Many artists are able to further cut costs by doing their own framing. Some offer free shipping. Talented artists are looking for a venue to display their work until they are noticed. There are some that I have bought from in the past and have looked for more of their works on eBay, only to find they have been noticed and now only sell in galleries. Just make sure that you read up on them, ask any questions you might have, and follow the eBay protocol. In over 10 years of buying art on eBay I've only been disappointed once and that was my own fault for not looking closely at the seller (some Asian scam artist, short lived). Best of luck! Evo Lori
3. You can go to thrift stores and find nice stuff sometimes. Books, or anything you like can be blown up at the printer place. Then Home Depot make glass for frames cheap. I did notice that Tuesday mornings had some gorgeous art and Ross is another one that is very reasonable and I was so surprised at that. Really nice stuff. Of course Bed Bath and Beyond can have stuff on sale too at times and really neat stuff. If creative go and look and follow it. I saw the beatles album where they are walking across the street in 3-D at Bed Bath and beyond and it was slick!!!
